GRR – an overview

We invest in German retail locations.
GRR AG, which is based in Erlangen, makes targeted investments in German retail properties trading in basic commodities. With a current portfolio of 113 objects covering a combined rental space of over 190,000 sqm, we are the market leader in our segment.

We work with a highly focused strategy.
We concentrate primarily on small-sized retail properties in the basic retail sector. We acquire supermarkets, discount stores, specialist retailers and retail parks in the food and non-food segment.

We have a unique portfolio.
GRR possesses an unmistakable real estate inventory, consisting solely of retail properties. Our portfolio represents a cross-section of the German retail industry, with a focus on economically sound federal states. Our objects are the subject of long-term lease agreements with some of the most renowned names in the industry. Our vacancy rate is consistently between 0 and 1%.

We have our own, in-house value creation service.
To oversee and optimise our specialised investment objects, we have set up our own, nation-wide asset manager in the form of GRR Real Estate Management (GRR REM) >> . GRR REM also successfully attends to other retail mandates – managed assets currently amount to around 900 million euro.

Renowned capital partner and financial strength.
GRR is supported by the German insurance company Provinzial Rheinland and the real estate umbrella fund INIZIO. On the financing side, we work closely with mortgage banks and German real estate financiers. All third-party financing is provided to us in the form of binding global credit lines.
